How the ‘Know, Like, Trust’ principle works in luxury branding

The Know, Like, Trust principle is one of the fundamental laws of business. As the saying goes, people do business with people whom they know, like and trust. These three simple and very effective strategies play a large role in the success of any business. With this in mind let’s review how the Know Like Trust principle works in luxury branding. 

To start with, it is important that your ideal audience can actually get to know your brand. Make sure that your brand shows up where your target audience is searching, and where possible ensure your business shows up on multiple platforms. Following this, your brand needs to show this potential customer that you are likeable, personable and trustworthy. Show that they can trust you. In today’s busy (busier than ever) world it is more important than ever to build a strong relationship with your ideal audience and customers. Effective communication is an essential way to build strong customer relationships. Another key fundamental factor to build stronger customer relationships is to go above and beyond expectations. Luxury businesses should always aim to over-deliver. A positive impact to building strong customer relationships is when your ideal audience and customers have a consistent and positive customer experience touchpoint.

Building trust is one of the most important factors in business! People buy from people… People they know, like and most importantly trust.

Trust is what holds business relationships together. Trust is one of the fundamental factors to building a successful, high-end and luxury brand. Yet, it’s often overlooked by many business owners.

People buy from people they trust. The higher the purchase and in many cases the higher the risk, people’s trust needs to be higher. To book high-end clients, their trust in you needs to be a lot higher, because their investment, and therefore risk, is greater.
