Your website should feel like a visual home for everything you’re creating in real life.
It should allow your audience to feel like they’ve stepped foot into your world by encapsulating your essence and giving them a glimpse into how it would feel if they worked with you.
Because when your branding does that, suddenly, every client interaction feels less like a transaction where your job is to convince, and more like an excited conversation where the questions are about how they can get started, rather than why they should choose you.
Branding is supposed to be a manifestation of everything you deliver, the feelings you inspire and the results you bring to the table.
It should elevate your business and YOU as the founder.
But for Chelsea, a luxury event planner, her branding felt like the opposite. That’s when she reached out to me…

There was nothing overtly wrong with Chelsea’s branding for her event planning business, Black Tie Optional; it just didn’t do more than scratch the surface of what she has built her business to be about.
Whereas her events were designed to stand out, capture attention and amplify the uniqueness of her clients, her branding blended in.
It didn’t conjure up that bubble of excitement you feel when you realise your dream wedding has been brought to life. Which meant it wasn’t drawing in clients who were feeling an emotional pull to work with her. Meaning she became one of many.
And as a multi-award-winning event planning business, Black Tie Optional is anything but!
“I wasn’t looking for something just ‘pretty’. I wanted something that felt like me, like the soul of what I’m building. I’d tried other branding and web teams in the past, but nothing ever captured the full picture or felt aligned.”

Her old branding may have been functional, but it wasn’t distinctive. It didn’t have that edge that Chelsea so naturally brings to her clients’ events (or the edge that her clients have either)!
Ultimately, her branding and website lacked depth, so I lit my favourite candle from Jo Malone, and got to work.

Since Chelsea founded the business, Black Tie Optional has evolved into something elevated, intentional, and experiential. Naturally, she needed a brand and website that truly reflected that transformation.
This meant the project was more than just a visual refresh. It was a full brand system including brand identity, website design and development, brochure and proposal design, and copy (by HYB Luxury Marketing).
As always, my goal is to make the luxury brand design process feel, well…luxurious.
But luxury to me is about the ease of it all. It’s about ensuring each step is thoughtfully designed to leave you feeling excited, supported and heard.
Luxury brand design is about creating with intention.
For Black Tie Optional, this meant steering well away from what would be expected of an event planner based in Arizona (think terracotta desert aesthetic). It meant leaning into the persona of Chelsea’s business.

“Working with you was such an incredible experience!! The brand unfolded in this magical, layered way. I never felt overwhelmed… it all just clicked.’
We had long discussions about what Black Tie Optional stood for, Chelsea’s vision and how we wanted her audience to feel when they landed on her website.
We ended up creating a brand that feels like an entire world, not just a service.

The power of creating this world for Chelsea’s audience to experience has resulted in a genuine, tear-provoking (I mean that literally, just click here to see) transformation.

We captured the feeling that clients can expect when they work with Black Tie Optional and infused it with Chelsea’s passion, vibe and magic.
The result is something that transports Chelsea’s audience from that first interaction and instantly gets them excited to work with her. It’s what luxury branding is all about.
Capturing emotions and elevating everyone involved.

“If you want a brand and website that feels like the most elevated, aligned, soul-filled version of who you are… if you want a designer who listens, cares, and exceeds expectations at every single step… Sarah is absolutely the one.”
Luxury branding is branding that truly draws your people in, blends emotional intelligence to make them feel seen, artistry to help bring your vision to life and strategy to give you tangible, business-changing results.
And that’s exactly what I do for my clients.
Ready to create a world for your business that captivates at every touch point? Then it’s time for us to have a conversation!

With a soft spot for pretty things, old stories, history documentaries, and anything involving cats.
For over a decade, I’ve worked with creative, lifestyle-led founders to shape high-end brands that hold depth, essence, and story. Not just brands that perform, but brands that feel true.
Because before titles or industries, my clients are people. And the work begins there — listening closely, noticing what’s unsaid, and translating it into a brand that creates an inner shift and quietly elevates everything that follows.
Whether you’re in the UK, US, Europe, or beyond, I bring the same blend of artistry, emotional intelligence, and strategy to every brand I shape.
