We often find it difficult to celebrate our wins in a modest manner, but here’s my attempt. It’s too complimentary to hide away, and I hope you find this informative too.
Recently, in December 2018, the renown photographers digital platform ShowIt contacted me to inform my that my website designer for brand photographer Visible By Hannah was chosen to be featured in their ‘Spark’ Creative Inspiration Anthology 2019. It is a beautiful hardback book which I am incredibly proud of, which was originally published in the United States.
The feedback has been incredible, and proved its industrial worth:
“Unlike most websites, VisiblebyHannah.com will not be confined to an angular protocol. Open circle graphics subtly apply movement to this clean site. Because Hannah’s brand images are so personal and inviting, visitors may not notice the delightful elliptic theme immediately. Of course, designer Sarah Shuttle knew this would further underscore Hannah’s unique brand statement of making “your brand VISIBLE in the most beautiful and natural way”.
Being featured isn’t a simple PR strategy- it’s an assurance that my work is truly fulfilling its potential. I do what I do because I wish to see clients thrive and their work celebrated, so knowing that Visible By Hannah had found benefit from our collaboration meant that my business was on the right track.
I was elated to be featured for numerous reasons. Visible By Hannah had been by debut design on the Showit platform, which had been nerve wracking enough in its own right. To then be showcased amongst their leading designers and projects was overwhelming.
My work derives from a desire to break away from conventional structure in order to create a site of subtle movement which lets the photos speak for themselves. Design is more than the initial vision- it’s experience, immersion, psychology, adapting to cultural and technical advances.
I have worked with Hannah on numerous joint ventures. She has provided photography to support my branding and web design work, so it has become a successful collaborative partnership. I also offer professional web copy to clients, and from April I am offering styling services on photoshoots.
I hope my work offers the ability to enable business owners to key into the creative unknown, that my approach is a lot more friendly and welcoming to those who may have been intimidated by brand strategy.
Branding isn’t about showcasing an ego: it’s showcasing who you are, and why people should take note. Believe in it, and the rest will follow.
